A hamster Black Bear feels most comfortable in a cage or terrarium. The great advantage of obtaining a cage instead of a terrarium is that it is more portable and has a front opening for easy access. You can also provide a cage with you when you travel for a longer period. On the other hand, a glass box like a terrarium to limit the bad habits of your hamster and keep throwing objects from his environment. A terrarium provides shelter more pleasant for your pet, because they are not derived from human activity in the housing.
Depending on the size of your hamster black bear, make sure your pet is precious enough space to run around and dig. A reasonable size would be at least 16 inches by 24 inches and 24 inches tall. Remember that although you are strongly encouraged to your hamster cage to take to work and play with it, your pet should not be left out of its habitat for housing too long because you might lose them (the Small creatures can be very fast!).
