Hamsters are notoriously adventurous creatures, and love to go almost anywhere and everywhere. This is usually very nice, especially if you have children, because they love pets active.

However, like any hamster owner will tell you these cute animals are used to find holes and corners to hide in, and sometimes very stubborn and will not come again! If this happens, you′ll be glad to know that something very simple, you can use to find your pet. The trick is to set up a “trap” for your hamster and trap him. Although this may sound dangerous, I can assure you it is completely safe.

1. Prepare materials

To set the trap, you have a bucket or bowl with high sides, a piece of wood wide enough for a hamster to climb, with a soft cloth or a towel, and some hamster food mix of small pleasures. Collect all these elements together in the room where your pet lies.

2. Set The Trap

Start by placing the cloth or towel in the bottom of the bucket. Make sure that goes directly to the edges, and there are no gaps. Then place the bucket in the middle of the room, and bend the piece of wood against her a “ladder” of your hamster to climb. It is important to keep a piece of wood in a relatively shallow angle to choose, to make sure that your hamster can climb. Finally, sprinkle a generous assistance of food and treats in the bucket on top of the water.

3. Let it work its magic

The next step is to simply allow the trap to do its work. It is best for everyone off the room, so the hamster more likely to want to explore. If you know where it hides, can help a few pieces of food between him and the fall to set in. This may take some time sanding, so feel free to drop at night to leave. With a little luck, you will find that your pet can not resist the smell of food and climb the ladder to investigate. After locating the food and jump into the room, he will not be able to escape again, so just go get the morning and put him back in his cage!

This simple trick is a real lifesaver when your hamster decides to hide and the best of everything that you do not have to be when he does his job, that one can hope again.
